OscarCodesLife collects only what is needed to deliver the newsletter and, when you explicitly allow it, understand which public content is useful.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 does not load before you select Accept. If you decline—or if no measurement ID is configured—no GA4 script is loaded and custom events safely do nothing. When accepted, the site records page activity and a small set of non-personal events for article engagement, newsletter success, media, social profiles, selected work, and VallySeed links. Event payloads do not include your email address or other directly identifying form data.
Consent preference
Your choice is stored in your browser, is versioned, and expires after 180 days. You can change it below at any time. A new privacy version asks again instead of silently carrying forward an old choice.

Newsletter
The newsletter uses a double-opt-in workflow. Your email address is used to send confirmation, field notes, and unsubscribe links. It is not included in analytics events. The approved sending identity isOscar Gallo <hello@newsletter.ocl42.com>.
External destinations
Links to VallySeed, Human In The Loop, social profiles, and project websites lead to independent services with their own privacy practices. VallySeed links include campaign parameters for referral attribution; the normal browser referrer is not suppressed.
